The Missing Piece of Birth Preparation
Most birth preparation focuses on what to do. I help you prepare for how to be—with discernment, receptivity, and the confidence to meet whatever birth brings while staying true to your values.
Research shows that women are significantly more likely to experience the kind of birth they hope for, and have higher rates of vaginal birth and other positive outcomes, when they participate in childbirth education and create a birth plan.
I love seeing you and your partner grow into your new roles with self assurance, solidifying that birth isn't simply something that happens to you — you are active participants.
Together we'll meet four times during pregnancy to prepare for birth, answer your questions, explore your options, and create a plan. You'll receive birth planning tools and templates, childbirth education in a group setting, and you'll have unlimited phone, text, and email support for guidance or reassurance.
When labor begins, I'll be fully present with you. My support blends time-honored birth wisdom with evidence-based techniques and modern tools such as acupressure, TENS therapy and red light therapy to help you find comfort, confidence, and calm throughout labor.
After your baby arrives, I'll continue supporting you with breastfeeding, birth processing, and gentle guidance as your family settles into this extraordinary new chapter.
My goal is not simply for you to have a healthy baby—it's for you to look back on your birth knowing you were deeply respected, lovingly supported, and empowered every step of the way.
Grounded birth leads to grounded parenting. Isn't that what this is really about?
For families outside my travel area—or anyone looking for focused guidance—I also offer childbirth education, birth planning, and on-call virtual support.
